Trisha O’Moore-Sullivan is the Director of Endocrinology at the Mater Adult Hospital and a Senior Staff Endocrinologist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. She is also the Director of Advanced Training at the Mater and was appointed as the Co-Chair of the Queensland Health Statewide Diabetes Clinical Network in 2012. She also Co-Chairs the Type 1 Diabetes working group and Chairs the Insulin Adjustment Working Group. On both campuses she works in multidisciplinary teams caring for patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes and other endocrine diseases. At the PAH, Trisha heads a multi-disciplinary obesity clinic and 2007 she established an Adult Prader-Willi clinic after several years of consulting at the Adolescent PWS clinic at the Mater Children’s Hospital. Trisha is involved in the teaching and training of medical, nursing and pharmacy students. Her research interest is cardiovascular complications of obesity, fatty liver disease and type 2 diabetes. Trisha is actively involved in teaching, mentoring and examining medical students, residents and physician trainees and has been a local examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians since 2003.
